Thank you to the Social Committee for organising the Coronation Tea on Saturday 13th May. A glass of sparkling wine was provided on arrival and used to toast His Majesty before a tea of Coronation chicken with new potatoes and salad, Eton Mess, and tea or coffee with cake and mints. A quiz based on the life of King Charles III was followed by musical entertainment provided by Heather and Jim. Finally a game of “Royal Bingo” called by Hilary concluded events with chocolates provided for each winning line and a box of chocolates for the full house. The event raised £300.
